The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, GOI, is implementing Phase-II of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Programme (GCRTS) with a Central Financial Assistance being provided for installation of Rooftop Solar projects (RTS) on residential buildings.
In Gujarat, GUVNL is the designated tendering agency which has authorized MGVCL to implement a cumulative total of 1 GW of RTS across the state of Gujarat.

Submit the application form along with the required documents, through the installer.
Deposit the payment within 30 days of receiving rate card (Firm Quotation) from the distribution company.
Install the solar system within 85 days of approval and generate ‘intimation request” on the empaneled vendor portal.
Claim Subsidy after site verification by authorised representative of the distribution company.
